Bergamot

Bergamot, a typical Calabrian fruit from the province of Reggio Calabria, is little more than an orange and a little less than a grapefruit; its yellow colour is more intense than grapefruit and less than lemon; it has a smooth and thin skin like a grapefruit; it is less round than grapefruit and more flattened at the poles.
It has beneficial effects on the body thanks to its cholesterol-lowering and antioxidant properties.
